Reckonings are not witch hunts.

History, removed from the

adrenaline and
volatility and
pressure of examining reality now,

will someday

coolly,
methodically,
resolutely

dissect the facts,
and there is no doubt,
none,
no question to my mind,
there is

…no doubt that it will be brutal,

truthfully brutal

in assessing this administration…

…and those complicit in the horrors and hypocrisies it has wrought.

I don’t know the timeline. I wish it was now. But it is not. The lies, the cruelty, the callousness continue. At some point though, there will be a reckoning, a reckoning according the Rule of Law and those who study history, and it will be an unpretty mess. It is also a part of how we will move forward, in reckoning and reconciling ourselves with the truth of what we have allowed to happen in this nation with so greatness, so much potential, and right now, so much hate.
