In general, the list of historical figures I would like to think our children might look to for inspiration and occasional guidance is not surprising, and might include the normals. The Abrahams. Jesus. Eleanor Roosevelt. Marie Curie. Et cetera.
I’m not sure that I’m ready to find a kids’ biography of the Marquis de Sade quite yet, and honestly, I don’t know that I’d include him in the above list.
