Maslow's bricks.

"Daddy, I need an English muffin!"
My son shrieked quietly.

His sister corrected him.
"You don't NEED an English muffin. Okay! I will tell you things you NEED: you NEED water. You NEED food. You NEED...LEGOs and DUPLOs."

I corrected her.
"Actually, as I've told you a billion times, LEGO is the name of the company and it's not plural. If you're using it as an adjective, then it's "LEGO bricks" or DUPLO pieces."

She waited patiently.
"I call them LEGOs. And DUPLOs."

"That is so wrong." I said.
