I asked my three-year old.
"Good. Two plus two?"
"Correct. Three plus three?"
"Nice. Five plus five?"
"Nice. Four plus four?"
"Nope. Way off."
Five in a row and I mighta taken him to Disneyland. Next time, kid. Keep practicing.
MY SON, MY SON, TESLA MY SON.
He is laying in bed practicing lines from Princess Bride:
"Inconceivable...unconthievable...never do a land war...inconthifi - Daddy, I like the little pirate, is he bigger than me? He's funny, I really like him."
- "Yep, even though he's little, he's still way bigger than you,"
Somewhere amidst his bedtime philosophizing, he also gave us a very helpful idea for Christmas:
"You know what would be so cool, Daddy?! A big toilet in my bedroom so when I need to go potty I can just use the big potty in my bedroom! Wouldn't that be cool?"
Yes, son, it truly would be...Santa likes innovative thinking, so we shall see what surprises this holiday season has in store for my forward-thinking son, and his Mum. The best surprises are the ones you don't even see coming...
